Dena Bank to conduct interview of shortlisted candidates for Clerk Recruitment from 7 June 2012


Dena Bank will conduct interview for recruitment of 1090 Clerical Personnel from 7 June 2012. The interview process of 5000 shortlisted candidates will be conducted in phases at selected centres and end on 10 June 2012. Shortlisted candidates can refer to the interview schedule as notified by the bank.
The bank had issued a list of state-wise category-wise cut-off marks, on the basis of Common Written Examination (CWE) Score card issued by IBPS. The bank will soon display link for downloading their interview call letter on its website. However, necessary intimation about date, time & venue of interview is being sent to the shortlisted candidates by SMS & e-mail. Candidates are advised to be in readiness for appearing for interview as per the scheduled.
Dena Bank announced recruitment of 1090 Clerks on 17 April 2012 wherein Pass with 60% marks in 10+2 examination or its equivalent (for SC/ST pass class) and a valid IBPS Score Card obtained in CWE for Clerks 2011-12 was a prerequisite. Besides this, Regional Language Knowledge was also made mandatory for candidates applying from a particular State/ UT.
Dena Bank was founded on 26 May 1938 by the family of Devkaran Nanjee under the name Devkaran Nanjee Banking Company Ltd. It became a Public Ltd. Company in December 1939 and later the name was changed to Dena Bank Ltd. It is one among six Public Sector Banks selected by the World Bank for sanctioning a loan of Rs 72.3 crores for augmentation of Tier-II Capital under Financial Sector Developmental project in the year 1995.
