Vijaya Bank, one of the leading Public Sector bank and the participant bank in the IBPS Common Written Exam (CWE) for Clerks had announced its Clerical vacancy under the Vijaya Bank Recruitment Project-2012. Under the Vijaya Bank Clerk Recruitment 2012, the bank had invited online applications from the candidates who have appeared in the IBPS Clerk Exam 2011 and have been issued valid scorecards by IBPS.It is worth mentioning here that prior to July 2011, Vijaya Bank had been recruiting candidates through its own recruitment exams, but now it is recruiting candidates through IBPS Platform.

So Vijaya Bank Clerk recruitment 2012 is open only for those students who have Passed  the IBPS Clerk Exam 2012 and freshers are not eligible to apply for this exam.

Post Name: Probationary Clerks

Number of Vacancies: 800

Pay Scale: Rs 7200 to Rs 19,300

Selection Procedure: The Selection Procedure for Recruitment of Probationary Clerks in Vijaya Bank shall consist of Interview.The Final Merit is prepared by taking into Consideration the marks in Obtained in the Written Exam (IBPS Scores and Interview) taken together.

Who can apply for Vijaya Bank Clerk Recruitment 2012 ?

As, mentioned earlier that this vacancy is open only for IBPS Qualifiers. So those students who have appeared in and Passed the IBPS Clerk Exam 2011 are required to full fill the below mentioned Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: Min: 18 years and Max: 27 years

Educational Qualifications: Candidates Must have

• Passed the Class 10th (Matric) with 60% Marks

                                  OR

• Passed the Class 12th (HSC Part-2) with 50% Marks

                                  OR

• Graduate in any Discipline from a recognized University of India

Note: Relaxation in Eligibility criteria as per Rules

IBPS Score : The cut off Marks will vary from state to State.So candidates are advised to go through the Detailed Advt. for IBPS Cut Off marks for their respective states 

How to Apply ?

Application Fee: An application fee of Rs 20 (For SC/ST/PWD candidates.) and Rs 100 (For Others) will have to deposited in any vijaya Bank Branch through a Challan form that can be downloaded from the Vijaya Bank Official Website.

Online Application: After depositing the fee, candidates are required to apply Online by submitting the Online Application form at the Vijaya Bank Official Website.The Online form can be submitted by following the On-Screen Instructions.After Submitting the Application form, a System Generated Form will appear on the Screen. This form must be printed and preserved for future Usage.
