CBSE announces Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2013 Dates


CBSE releases Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2013 Main Notification for admission to NITs, DTU, IITs,, CFTIs. All India common engg. test2013 by CBSE for admission to undergraduate engineering courses in 2013 Latest Alerts


The Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) has come out with a notification onJoint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2013 for admission to Undergraduate Courses
The Notification Says -
Name of the Examination shall be Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)
JEE shall be held in two parts JEE (MAIN) andJEE (Advanced)
Npw, AIEEE will be known as JEE (Main) andIITJEE will be Known as JEE (Advanced).
All Candidates will take JEE Main . JEE (Main) will be the gateway for JEE (Advanced)
CBSE has already announced the offline test date i.e., April 7, 2013; while the online tests will be held between April 8 and April 25 next year
Those who finished Class 12 in 2011 or 2012 will also be eligible to appear for next year’s exam, in addition to the 2013 batch. The document also clarifies that students will be able to improve their Class 12 board exam performance, since these marks will also carry weightage from next year. Three attempts to clear the JEE Main exam
Only the top 150,000 candidates (including all categories as per reservation policy) based on performance in JEE (Main), will qualify to appear in the JEE (Advanced) examination.

IIT JEE MAIN EXAM DATE

B.E./B.Tech; Paper-1; Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics; 3 hours duration
Offline: 07th April, 2013

Online: Between 08th April, 2013 to 25th April, 2013 (exact dates shall be announced later)
B.Arch/B.Planning; Paper-2; Part-I Mathematics, Part-II Aptitude test, Part-III Drawing Test; 3 hours duration
Offline: 07th April, 2013
Paper-1: Objective type questions with equal weightage to Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics based on Common Core Syllabus
Paper-2: Objective type questions for Mathematics and Aptitude Test and Question to test drawing aptitude for Drawing Test
