Clerk Recruitment 2012--Bank of Maharashtra

Bank of Maharashtra was established on 16th September 1935 as a premiere bank in Maharashtra. Its head quarter is at Pune and other 1570 branches are situated at different locations of the country. All its branches are fully computerised. Bank of Maharashtra has a tie up with LIC of India and United India Insurance Company for the sale of insurance policies. It offers various services to the people like loan facilities, DEMAT account, credit card facility, E-payment taxes and many more.

Applications are invited by Bank of Maharashtra for the recruitment of clerks in its various regional branches and head office. Only Indian Nationals with the relevant experience and qualification can apply and that too before 10th May 2012. Mode of application is online only. Selection will be through interview and post is for the probation period of 6 months.

Total 543 vacancies are for the post of Clerks for the states of Maharashtra, Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, West Bengal, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Tripura, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Mizoram, Goa and Manipur.

Eligibility: Candidates applying for this post should have passed Matriculation/ SSC/ SSLC Examination with minimum 60% marks OR should be graduate in any discipline. It is essential that candidates should be qualified in the Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS and should be holding a valid score card issued by IBPS. A certificate of having a course in Computer Awareness & Office Automation from any reputed computer training institution is necessary. Candidates age should be between 18-28 years. Candidates should also be proficient in the local language of the state from where he/ he is applying.
