Pay Scale : Rs. 5200 – 20200 Plus Grade Pay of Rs. 2000/-
Application Fee : Application fee of Rs. 50/- in the form of Indian Postal Order duly crossed/ Demand Draft/ Banker’s Cheque in favour of DIG, Group Centre, CRPF of concerned Application Receiving Centres identified for their respective States be sent by General and OBC candidates along with the application form. No application fee is required to be paid by SC/ST candidates,Ex-Servicemen and Mahila candidates.
How to Apply : Eligible and desirous candidates, who fulfill eligibility conditions, may send their application in the prescribed proforma duly typed or neatly hand written and filled up in all respects on full-scap paper, affixing latest passport size photograph duly attested on application at the space prescribed for the purpose and two self addressed envelops of 4” x 9” size with Rs. 22/- postage stamps affixed thereon, to the DIG, Group Centre, CRPF of concerned Applications Receiving Centres as mentioned in detailed advt. super scribing on the envelop “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF CONSTABLE(TECHNICAL/TRADESMEN)–2012” by any available means of post.
General Instructions:
1. Eligible and desirous candidates, who fulfill above eligibility conditions, may send their application in the prescribed proforma (in Appendix-A) duly typed or neatly hand written and filled up in all respects on full-scappaper, affixing latest passport size photograph duly attested on application at the space prescribed for the purpose and two self addressed envelops of 4” x 9” size with Rs. 22/- postage stamps affixed there on,
1. 2. The candidate should bring following certificates/documents in original with 4passport size photographs :-Matriculation certificate issued by recognized Board as documentary evidence in support of education and date of birth. Candidates appearing for the post of Constable
3. The candidates will apply for only one trade. The written/ trade test will be conducted for the applied trade post. In the cases where candidate applied for more than one trade/post, he will be considered for only one trade/ post.
4. The department will not be responsible for any compensation or claim due to accident / injury /damage if any, sustained during the course of the recruitment tests.
5. Canvassing in any form or bringing any influence will not be permitted and candidates found canvassing and bringing influence will be disqualified for the post.
6. The Selection of candidates will be subject to fitness in the chest X – Ray test and pathological tests.
7. Qualifying in all tests does not guarantee appointment, as the offer of appointment will be made only according to availability of vacancies at the relevant time
8. The candidate so appointed in the Force and subsequently seeking resignation/discharge as per rules, shall be required to refund to the Govt. a sum equal to three months pay and allowances or cost of training imparted
9. Selected candidates on their appointment in CRPF will be governed by theCRPF Act 1949, CRPF Rules 1955 and other Central Government Rules and regulations as applicable from time to time.
10. The selected candidates will have to undergo prescribed training for specific period at any place of training.
11. The Department has full rights to make changes in or to cancel the recruitment process without assigning any reasons.
12. Since the vacancies have been released state-wise, the candidates will be allowed for selection on production of Domicile Certificate as enumerated in para-7 above.
13. The vacancies notified can be altered / changed / increased / decreased due to administrative reasons.
14. Decision of the Recruitment Board shall be final in the conduct of the recruitment.
15 The CRPF wards of serving personnel are allowed to apply either from their Home State or from the State where Force personnel (Parents) are serving, for which they have to submit an undertaking to be issued by the concerned Bns/GCs.

About the organization:
Besides Law and Order and counter insurgency duties, the role of CRPF in the General Elections, held repeatedly during the past few years, has been very significant and vital. This is especially true for the trouble torn States of J&K, Bihar and States of North East. During the Parliamentary elections of Sept’99, the CRPF played a major role in the security arrangements.One of the vital roles of the CRPF, which is not very evident, is guarding vital Central Govt. installations such as Airport, Power houses, Bridges, Doordarshan Kendras, All India Radio Stations, residence of Governers and Chief Ministers, Nationalised Banks and other Government establishments in insurgency affected States.
