HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY..!

Let’s celebrate our Independence… 66 years of Independence… 1947!!! Isn’t it? That was the year, right? To be precise, 15th August 1947… Hey friends, Happy Independence Day!!! 

Yeh, let’s celebrate Independence for being morally in shackles for whole lot of 66 years. 

Let’s celebrate Independence for govt. paying no heed to the problems of common people. 

Let’s celebrate Independence for Govt. giving deaf ears to the people protesting peacefully for their viable, feasible and reasonable demands. 

And not only that let’s celebrate Independence for Govt. forcibly feeding people on peaceful hunger strike through nose and mouth like Irom Sharmila is facing since more than 10 years. 

Let’s celebrate Independence for thousands of farmers who were compelled to suicide because of negligence when we were busy celebrating our so called Independence during entire 66 years. 

Let’s celebrate Independence for corruption laden system, well accepted and welcomed by so called helpless common people. 

Let’s celebrate Independence for our country’s population explosion. 

Let’s celebrate Independence for incessantly increasing gap between rich and poor. 

Let’s celebrate Independence for stashed and so called their birth right money in foreign bank accounts of our beloved Politicians and Parliamentarians. 

Let’s celebrate Independence for common people, independently and individually choosing slavery in the hands of parliamentarians or say our representatives chosen by us. 

Who are to blame for all these? Can we honestly say that only Govt. is responsible for sufferings of people? I don’t know what answer you people have for such questions but some or many may agree to the fact that we people are also equally responsible for this. Aren’t we? Remember, we were not gifted our Independence, we earned it through a long and dedicated struggle. There is a saying that to give a blind eye to the crime is also a crime. Aren’t we committing a crime when we give a blind eye and deaf ear to the problems when it does not concerns us? Are we people so selfish? Are we people have no guts to come out and stand for each other’s rights, problems and Independence? Had we people imagined this sort of Independent India where people fight among communities, religions, states and other such similar silly issues provoked by few opportunistic politicians? Sorry friends, but sometimes I doubt our universally famous pride, ‘Unity in Diversity’. Some people say we need another struggle of Independence, some say we need a revolution. Are these problems so big that we need so big name measures to cure? No, not at all! These are just common problems with common solutions. All we need to do is just wake up. Awake for your own good, for your own cause and for your own country at large. Once we woke on 15th August 1947, this time soon we expect the same. We do not need another struggle of Independence, we do not need a revolution, all we need is reawakening or just RENAISSANCE, just RENAISSAINE and RENAISSANCE..! 

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY FRIEND, HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY…….! 

MAY OUR COUNTRY PROSPER, MAY OUR COUNTRY BE THE MOST DEVELOPED NATION IN THE WORLD...!
