Union Public Service Commission, invites applications for the post of Economic Officer/ Junior  Interpreter  Persian Language/ Asst Engineer

Post:Economic Officer

Qualification:Post Graduate Degree in E.C.Eor Applied Economics or Business Economics or Economics from a recognized Institute/University.

Junior Interpreter Persian Language 

Qualification:A Master’s degree in the Persian language with English as a compulsory/Elective subject at degree level from a recognized university or equivalent. OR B i A degree in the Persian language with English as a compulsory/Elective subject from a recognized university or equivalent and ii Two years’ experience as a Translator / Interpreter in the Persian language to English/Hindi and vice-versa or in teaching the Persian language. OR C i Bachelor’s degree with English as a compulsory/Elective subject from a recognized university or equivalent and ii A diploma equivalent to Interpreter-ship standard in the Persian language from a recognized university or equivalent and iii Three years’ experience as a Translator/Interpreter in the Persian language to English/Hindi and vice-versa or in teaching the Persian language.

Junior Interpreter Spanish Language 

Qualification: A Master’s degree in the Spanish language with English as a compulsory/Elective subject at degree level from a recognizeduniversity or equivalent. OR B i A degree in the Spanish language with English as a compulsory/ Elective subject from a recognized university or equivalent and ii Two years’ experience as a Translator/Interpreter in the Spanish language to English/Hindi and vice-versa or in teaching the Spanish language.

OR C i Bachelor’s degree with English as a compulsory/Elective subject from a recognized university or equivalent and ii A diploma equivalent to Interpreter-ship standard in the Spanish language from a recognized university or equivalent and iii Three years’ experience as a Translator/Interpreter in the Spanish language to English/Hindi and vice-versa or in teaching theSpanish language.

Assistant Engineer Wireless redesignated as Assistant Engineer Communication

Qualification:Degree in ECE or Electrical Engg. with Radio Communication as a special subject OR Degree in Telecommunication Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent

Desirable : Experience in operation and maintenance of wireless equipment.
